Roffey Karate Club has always engaged with charity fundraising, having completed a Sport Relief Mile and the Kick Challenge in previous years. Students have thrown themselves wholeheartedly into these challenges and raised fantastic amounts of money for charity. For Red Nose Day 2017, Roffey Karate Club set a target of delivering a monstrous total of 25,000 punches as a club over the six lessons in the week leading up to Red Nose Day itself.

THE STUDENTS AND SUPPORTERS OF ROFFEY KARATE CLUB have once again excelled themselves. You have raised over £600 for SPORT RELIEF. This year the fundraising was and turned out to be far more demanding than many expected, but everyone kept focus and met their 100 Kick Challenge. In some cases it was even more.
The kicks were completed in one session against a kick bag and checked to make sure every kick was correct and counted.

The Sainsbury's Sport Relief Games took place on Sunday 23rd March 2014. We at Roffey Karate Club have supported many Charities over the years and this was our most successful to date. We had 90 runners of all ages and the total raised has hit £2500. That's a phenominal acheivement for a small club like ours. Well done all who took part and thank you all who sponsored us.
