Just to let you know that Sensei Colin Jackson successfully achieved his 2nd Dan Black belt on Sunday 14th December.
In addition to this Elaine and Kelly Overington graded to 1st Dan. This is a great achievement for both and quite unique for a mother and daughter to grade to 1st Dan together.

At Roffey Karate we are lucky to have many students both Junior and Senior who have achieved a Black Belt grade.
When students reach this level there is a tendency to think that it is the end of their journey in Karate, however it is really only the beginning. We are very lucky that so many of the students who are successful in reaching Black Belt stay with us and continue their training. Their knowledge and experience is so helpful to other students, and to other Senseis. We have myself at 4th Dan, Sensei Alicia and Sensei Colin at 2nd Dan and a total of 12 other Dan grades currently training in the club.
They have all worked very hard to get where they are and they are a fantastic asset to the club
