AIWa SOUTHERN REGION OPEN WADO KATA CHAMPIONSHIPS

The Championships were held on the 4th of November at Tanbridge School Horsham.
Only two students from Roffey attended Josh Lucas and Will Anderson both aged 9.

Josh Lucas and Will Anderson both aged 9 entered the AIWa Kata Championships on the 4th November. Both competed in an open section for students aged up to 9. This meant competing against all grades in that age range, including Black belts.
Unfortunately Josh was knocked out by the eventual winner and wasn't placed but Will, who had to perform three times got a Third Place continuing his run of success. I know that both Will and Josh supported each other in the competition and you can see that in the photo.
Very well done to both of them and thanks to their parents for taking them along.
