ROFFEY KARATE CLUB HELD ITS ANNUAL AWARDS FOR 2011 TUESDAY 10TH JANUARY. This year Dorking Service Centre who have supported and sponsored us for over 10 years have regretfully had to take a step back. However we were very fortunate as SIRIC Communications (www.siric.com) in the form of Simon Law stepped up and sponsored our awards for 2011. This is a much appreciated and generous action and I am sure we are all thankful of this support.
All the classes were well attended so there were around 60 students and many parents to see the awards given out.
I have often said and I firmly believe that it is what you put into your karate that should be noted and rewarded. Not all of us are blessed with natural ability in the things we do so it is your attitude to your training that becomes absolutely vital to your progress.
We are very lucky at Roffey to have a great atmosphere in the club and therefore a great amount of Effort, Spirit and consequently Improvement. I am very proud of the way you all strive to progress in your Karate and pleased to have so many Black Belts who continue with the same enthusiasm they had as Red Belts. Well done to all those who received awards and well done to every other student. The following students received awards for the attributes.
